Defending champs heading back to postseason

The Toronto Marlies clinched a berth in the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs on Friday night with a 2-1 victory at Utica.

Adam Brooks scored the winning goal on a shorthanded breakaway with just 1:25 to play in regulation.

The defending Calder Cup champions will be heading to the postseason for the eighth year in a row.
