Flames sign Quine to extension

The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed forward Alan Quine to a one-year, two-way contract extension.

Quine, 26, notched 19 goals and 33 assists for 52 points in 41 games with the AHL’s Stockton Heat in 2018-19, ranking third in the AHL in points per game (1.27).

He also appeared in 13 NHL games with the Flames, picking up three goals and two assists.

Entering his seventh pro season in 2019-20, Quine has skated in 240 AHL contests with Stockton, Bridgeport and Grand Rapids, recording 70 goals and 120 assists for 190 points. He was an AHL All-Star in 2016.

In 97 games in the NHL with Calgary and the New York Islanders, Quine has totaled nine goals and 18 assists for 27 points.
