Thunderbirds agree to terms with Audette

The Springfield Thunderbirds announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Daniel Audette on a one-year AHL contract.

Audette, 23, skated in 71 games for the AHL’s Laval Rocket last season and set career highs with 14 goals, 25 assists and 39 points.

A native of Blainville, Que., Audette has played 206 career games in the AHL with Laval and St. John’s, accruing 37 goals and 61 assists for 98 points.

Audette was originally a fifth-round choice by Montreal in the 2014 NHL Draft.
