Chip Alexanders and Jessaca Giglio: The Carolina Hurricanes will be without Jordan Martinook for the next six to eight weeks as he’ll be having surgery to repair a core muscle injury.
Martinook had surgery back on May 21st to repair a core muscle injury.
Julien Gauthier has been recalled by the Hurricanes.
Tracey Myers: The Chicago Blackhawks have activated Connor Murphy from the IR.
Josh Clark: Dallas Stars coach Jim Montgomery said that they expect Corey Perry to return to the lineup at some point during their road trip.
