Val-d’Or Foreurs clip Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 4-3

ARÉNA IAMGOLD, ROUYN-NORANDA — Maxence Guenette scored a goal leading the Val-d’Or Foreurs to a 4-3 victory over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

The first period ended in a 1-1 tie, with Mathis Cloutier of the Foreurs and Shaun Miller of the Huskies getting their teams on the board.

The Foreurs moved ahead 3-2 in the second period after goals from Guenette and Jacob Gaucher. Samuel Johnson scored for the Huskies.

Val-d’Or held the lead in the third period. Rudolfs Polcs scored for Val-d’Or while Alex Labbé scored for Rouyn-Noranda.
