QMJHL Roundup: Luke Henman scores twice as Armada clip Cataractes 5-4

BOISBRIAND, Que. – Luke Henman scored twice as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada defeated the Shawinigan Cataractes 5-4 in Blainville-Boisbriand on Saturday evening.

Henman scored the first of his two goals in the first period, tying the game at 2-2. He would later score his second, the eventual game-winner, with 9:55 left in the third period.

Yaroslav Likhachev, Blake Richardson and Samuel Desgroseilliers also scored for the Armada. Charles Beaudoin, Marc-Antoine Pépin, Xavier Bourgault and Vasily Ponomarev scored for the Cataractes.

Felix-Anthony Ethier kicked out 23 shots for Blainville-Boisbriand. Charles-Antoine Lavallee turned away 25 shots for Shawinigan.

Blainville-Boisbriand outshot Shawinigan 30-27. The Armada (5-0-0) went 3-for-8 on the power play. The Cataractes (3-3-1) went 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

VICTORIAVILLE — The Quebec Remparts beat the Victoriaville Tigres 1-0 in Victoriaville on Saturday afternoon. Xavier Filion scored the lone goal for the Remparts at 18:13 of the first period.
