Panthers, Roy agree to terms on deal

The Florida Panthers have agreed to terms with forward Kevin Roy on a one-year, two-way contract.

Roy, 26, registered one goal and four assists in 11 regular-season games with the AHL’s San Diego Gulls last season. He added two goals and an assist in eight Calder Cup Playoff matches.

Roy also appeared in three NHL games with Anaheim in 2018-19.

A fourth-round choice by the Ducks in the 2012 NHL Draft, Roy has totaled 31 goals and 57 assists for 88 points in 125 AHL games and six goals and one assist for seven points in 28 NHL games over his three-year pro career.
