Paliotta signs on with Devils

The Binghamton Devils have signed defenseman Michael Paliotta to a one-year American Hockey League contract.

Paliotta, 26, spent the 2018-19 season with the AHL’s Stockton Heat, where he recorded four assists in 32 games.

The Westport, Conn., native has accumulated 10 goals and 35 assists in 177 career AHL games with Stockton, Texas, Toronto, Hartford and Lake Erie. He also appeared in eight postseason games with Lake Erie in 2016, helping the Monsters win the Calder Cup.

Selected by Chicago in the third round of the 2011 NHL Draft, Paliotta has one assist in two career NHL games with the Blackhawks and Columbus.
