Outdoor skating arrives in San Antonio

AHL On The Beat

The San Antonio Rampage have worked with the Rotary Club of San Antonio to become the presenting sponsors of the Rotary Ice Rink at Travis Park, the first ever outdoor skating rink in downtown San Antonio.

To celebrate the efforts of the Rotary Club and the opening of the rink, the Rampage invited 100 members of the Boy and Girls Clubs of San Antonio to hit the ice in San Antonio’s winter wonderland. Head coach Drew Bannister, captain Jordan Nolan, Tanner Kaspick and Nolan Stevens were on hand to teach children how to skate and to hand out teddy bears from this year’s Teddy Bear Toss.
