We need a hero. Someone to unite a divided hockey nation. There is only one. Time may be a flat circle, but hockey peace starts with a puck. Peter Puck. He can save us all right now. Think about it. He loves hockey. He’s diverse. He was actually on “Hockey Night in Canada” in the
Don’t expect an immediate replacement for fired commentator Don Cherry on Coach’s Corner. In fact, it’s possible that Sportsnet may eventually take the long-running “Hockey Night in Canada” segment in a different direction. “We’re taking the time to explore new formats for the first intermission,” Sportsnet communications director Andrew Garas said in an email to
John Tavares — Toronto’s calm, cool captain — smashed his stick against the post late in another loss where a decent effort was undone by costly, preventable errors. It’s been a recurring theme for the Maple Leafs in 2019-20. If they don’t get their house in order soon, a fourth straight trip to the playoffs
Emilie Castonguay has created a buzz as one of the NHL’s rare female certified player agents because she has something that the men don’t: Alexis Lafrenière, the likely No. 1 pick in the 2020 NHL draft. “It’s hard to compare him to just one player,” Castonguay said. “I would put him as a mix of
