Ryan Boulding on The Avalanche now have Philipp Grubauer and Pavel Francouz under contract for next season. They are in a wait-and-see mode with Varlamov.

The Avs could look at other goalies could be available in free agency, ones that proven and have experience, and one that may be a little cheaper.

Varlamov could look for a new deal with a bit of security and he may have to look elsewhere for that.
