Series snapshot: 2019 Calder Cup Finals

The 2019 Calder Cup Finals are pitting the Eastern Conference champion Charlotte Checkers (top development team of the Carolina Hurricanes) against the Western Conference champion Chicago Wolves (top development team of the Vegas Golden Knights) beginning Saturday night in Charlotte, N.C.

In operation since 1936 and celebrating its 83rd season this year, the American Hockey League continues to serve as the top development league for all 31 National Hockey League teams.
