Rangers agree to terms with Di Giuseppe

The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with free-agent forward Phil Di Giuseppe.

Di Giuseppe, 25, appeared in 26 AHL games with Charlotte and Milwaukee last season, tallying five goals and seven assists for 12 points. He also collected one goal and three assists in 24 NHL games between Carolina and Nashville.

A sixth-year pro out of the University of Michigan, Di Giuseppe has skated in 184 AHL games with Charlotte and Milwaukee, recording 40 goals and 61 assists for 101 points.

Di Giuseppe was a second-round selection by Carolina in the 2012 NHL Draft. He has amassed 14 goals and 27 assists for 41 points in 150 career NHL games with the Hurricanes and Predators.
