Eagles sign Condra to AHL deal

The Colorado Eagles have signed forward Erik Condra to an AHL contract for the 2019-20 season.

The 32-year-old Condra set career highs in 2018-19 with 20 goals, 34 assists and 54 points while appearing in 71 games with the AHL’s Texas Stars.

Condra also skated in six games with the NHL’s Dallas Stars, scoring one goal.

A native of Trenton, Mich., Condra has played 309 regular-season games in the AHL with Texas, Syracuse and Binghamton, collecting 72 goals and 140 assists for 212 points. He has also tallied 10 goals and 28 assists in 48 postseason contests, winning the Calder Cup with Binghamton in 2011 and returning to the Finals with Syracuse in 2017.

A seventh-round choice by Ottawa in the 2006 NHL Draft, Condra has registered 40 goals and 59 assists for 99 points in 372 NHL games with Ottawa, Tampa Bay and Dallas.
