Rampage agree to terms with Wilcox

The San Antonio Rampage have agreed to terms with goaltender Adam Wilcox on an AHL contract for the 2019-20 season.

Wilcox, 26, compiled a record of 13-8-5 in 28 appearances with the AHL’s Rochester Americans last season, posting a 2.82 goals-against average and an .896 save percentage.

Originally a sixth-round draft pick by Tampa Bay in 2011, Wilcox has appeared in 133 AHL games during his four-year pro career, going 59-42-23 with a 2.86 GAA, a .900 save percentage and four shutouts with Rochester, Springfield and Syracuse.

Wilcox also appeared in one NHL game for the Buffalo Sabres in 2017-18, stopping all 14 shots he faced in two periods of work against Florida.
