The New York Islanders have agreed to terms on new contracts with forwards Michael Dal Colle and Josh Ho-Sang.
Dal Colle, 23, was an AHL All-Star in 2018-19 as he notched 18 goals and 16 assists for 34 points in 34 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He also skated in 28 NHL games with the Islanders, collecting three goals and four assists for seven points, and made his Stanley Cup Playoff debut as well.
The fifth overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, Dal Colle has amassed 40 goals and 59 assists for 99 points in 172 career AHL games with Bridgeport. A native of Woodbridge, Ont., Dal Colle has seven points in 32 NHL games as well.
Ho-Sang, 23, recorded eight goals and 35 assists for a career-high 43 points in 56 games with the AHL’s Sound Tigers last season. He added one goal and one assist in five Calder Cup Playoff contests.
A first-round selection (28th overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft, Ho-Sang also skated in 10 games with the Islanders in 2018-19, collecting one goal and one assist.
A Toronto native, Ho-Sang has played 156 career AHL games with Bridgeport over three pro seasons, totaling 26 goals and 84 assists for 110 points. He also has seven goals and 17 assists for 24 points in 53 NHL contests with the Islanders.
