Harvey’s sinks Sonnet in PWHPA Gap Tour showdown

TRURO, N.S. – Jamie Lee Rattray scored twice as Team Harvey’s defeated Team Sonnet 6-2 in one of two Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association Gap Tour games in Truro on Saturday.

Marie-Philip Poulin, Rosalie Demers, Sophia Shaver and Emily Clark also scored for Harvey’s.

Hannah Brandt and Brianne Jenner scored for Sonnet.

In the second game, Team Adidas defeated Scotiabank 5-3.

Jincy Dunne, Kendall Coyne Schofield, Kristin O’Neill, Sarah Nurse and Laura Stacey scored for the winners, who were 2-for-4 on the power play. Coyne Schofield also chipped in with two assists.

Melodie Daoust, Victoria Bach and Blayre Turnbull scored for Scotiabank.
