Uchacz’s hat trick leads Rebels to 4-1 win over Hitmen in WHL action

RED DEER, Alta. – Kai Uchacz had a hat trick as the Red Deer Rebels picked up their second straight win, defeating the Calgary Hitmen 4-1 on Thursday.

Frantisek Formanek scored the other for Red Deer (24-6-1-3). Rhett Stoesser stopped 28 shots.

David Adaszynski replied for Calgary (18-10-3-1). Ethan Buenaventura made 24 saves.

The Rebels went 1-for-5 on the power play, courtesy of Uchacz, who also scored a short-handed marker. The Hitmen were 0-for-5 and outshot Red Deer 29-28.
